Farm Name: Brushwood Creek Nubians
Raised Nubians: 2016 - (8 years)
Location: Deatsville, Alabama
I run a small herd of 10 +/- Nubians with my husband and our daughter. What started as a
hobby quickly changed into a passion and lifestyle. In 2016, we started milk testing and showing
locally. Last year we officially moved to ADGA Plus and participated in our first Linear
Appraisals with our very young herd. Every year we challenge ourselves with something new -
whether it be a new program, our first time at a show, or something simple such as improving
our management practices. I believe we are always learning, the dairy goat world is always
changing, and there’s always room for improvement.
Why I volunteered: Breeding Nubians is my ambition - I want to better the breed and be involved
with its development however I can. My hope is that INBA will allow me to do that while also
connecting me with other breeders who share the same passion. Sure, in a world filled with
social media, making connections may be simple, but there lacks the “home-town” camaraderie
that a Breed Club offers.
Farm Name - 4B Crazy Kids
Location - Argo Texas
Raising Nubians - Since 2021
I was raised with Boer goats in a small town in central Texas and served as an FFA officer in my local chapter. I have fallen in love with the Dairy industry. As a newer Nubian owner, I am excited to serve the INBA on the Publicity Committee!
Farm Name- Raising Arrows Nubians
Years of Nubian Raising -14 years
Location- Western NE
I’m a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom to four kids. We ranch and I run a micro-creamery producing raw milk and cheeses. This last year I went through the RAWMI (Raw Milk Institute) listing process and am now the 2nd listed in Nebraska. I also am a contributor to the Milk Maid Society, writing monthly dairy goat content. I’m very passionate about Nubians, and look forward to serving the INBA.

Together they have kept the Association alive and brought together these breeders to revitalize the Association.
